How to download a TikTok video with SnapTik

  1. Copy the link

Open the video in TikTok, tap Share and choose Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar.

  2. Paste it into SnapTik

Tap Paste above or long-press the box and paste. SnapTik starts fetching the video right away.

  3. Choose a format

Pick Video (no watermark), HD video or MP3 audio. The file is saved to your downloads.

A TikTok video downloader that keeps the original quality

When you save a video from the TikTok app, TikTok adds its logo and the creator's username on top of the picture. SnapTik asks TikTok for the original file instead, so the video you save looks exactly like the one you watched – without the watermark and without re-encoding.

For most videos TikTok keeps several versions. SnapTik shows the standard MP4, which plays everywhere, and an HD version when TikTok has a higher-resolution copy. If you only need the music or the voice-over, save the MP3 instead – see the TikTok to MP3 page for more on audio.

Works on every phone and computer

  • Android: the file goes to the Download folder and shows up in your gallery or the Files app.
  • iPhone and iPad: use Save to Photos to put the video straight into the Photos app. The normal download button saves it to the Files app (Downloads).
  • Windows, Mac and Chromebook: the video downloads like any other file in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.

Is SnapTik safe to use?

SnapTik runs entirely in your browser. You don't install an app or an extension, you don't log in, and the site never asks for permissions such as notifications or contacts. The only thing you send is the TikTok link you paste. Files come straight from TikTok's servers, and the site uses HTTPS on every page. There are no ads, no pop-ups and no redirects to other sites. Many TikTok downloaders hide the download button behind ads; SnapTik doesn't.

What you can and can't download

  • Public TikTok videos, including videos made with CapCut templates that are posted on TikTok.
  • The sound of any public video as MP3.
  • Photo slideshows: for now SnapTik saves the soundtrack, not the individual photos.
  • Private videos, age-restricted videos and links from the CapCut app itself can't be downloaded.

Use downloads fairly

Saving a video to watch offline or keep a sound you like is fine for personal use. The video still belongs to the person who made it, so don't re-upload it as your own or use it commercially without the creator's permission. If you own a video and want it blocked here, see our DMCA page.

SnapTik FAQ

Is SnapTik free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no subscription and no limit on how many TikTok videos you download.

Does SnapTik have ads?

No. There are no ads, no pop-ups and no redirects to other sites. You paste a link, tap Download and get your file.

Does the downloaded video have a watermark?

No. SnapTik saves the version without the TikTok logo and username that the app adds when you save a video.

Do I need the SnapTik app?

No. Everything works in the browser. On Android you can add the page to your home screen if you want one-tap access.

Why does the HD video not play on my phone?

TikTok's HD files use the H.265 (HEVC) format. Most phones from the last few years play it; if yours doesn't, download the standard video, which uses H.264.

Where are my downloads saved?

On Android in the Download folder, on iPhone in Files → Downloads (or in Photos if you use Save to Photos), and on computers in your browser's download folder.

Can I download a TikTok video on PC?

Yes. Copy the video address from your browser, paste it into SnapTik and click Download. It works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
